Where one might usually see the Kia Sedona, the 2022 Kia Carnival has now stepped in as the automaker's next family-friendly minivan. Trim Levels (Exterior)
Drivers familiar with the Sedona will immediately notice a more slender-faced, sporty, SUV-like appearance on the Carnival. This new body is available in four trims: LX, EX, SX, and SX Prestige. LX, the base trim, has 17-inch wheels, power-sliding rear doors, and LED headlights. The EX has upgraded, 19-inch wheels instead. The SX trim comes with 19-inch black-painted wheels, roof rails, LED foglights, and power-folding side mirrors. The SX Prestige adds dual sunroofs, which are available on the other trims as an option.
Engine (Power)
All models of the 2022 Kia Carnival are equipped with a 3.5-liter V-6 engine that makes 290 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission in front-wheel drive. With sufficient power for cities and highways, and an encouraging experience up- or down-shifting, the Carnival is certainly worth a test drive.
Performance
