New 2017 Kia K900 at Dulles Kia for Frederick, MD
The 2017 Kia K900 is Kia's first rear-drive full-size luxury sedan and gets additional standard safety items for 2017, like blind spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane change assist. This car is used for livery services for executives and government officials in some countries, and you can tell because of its professional-grade features. Those features make their appearance in the form of hydrophobic windshield glass, a Head-Up Display, a subscription-free LCD connection screen that is 9.2 inches in size, and the available Surround View Monitor that uses 4 cameras for a real-time comprehensive view. Get into a smooth-riding Kia K900 today!
Under the K900's Hood
The 2017 K900 is provided with a choice of dual engines including a 3.8-liter V-6 with 311 hp and 293 lb-ft of torque, and a 5.0-liter V-8 rated at 420 hp and 376 lb-ft. An eight-speed automatic transmission is the only gearbox available and is accented with shift paddles on the steering wheel. With the base V-6, the K900 is rated at 17/25 mpg city/highway, and the V-8 is rated at 15/23 mpg. There are engine modes that can be programmed in by the driver by hitting a button: Normal, Sport, Eco and Snow modes.
Design of Kia K900
The base K900 comes standard with Kia's UVO infotainment system with navigation and a 9.2-inch screen, a 14-speaker audio system, Bluetooth connectivity, USB ports, leather upholstery, front and rearview camera, parking sensors, heated/ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, tri-zone climate control, keyless entry/start, HID headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, and a power-operated smart trunk. Options include Nappa leather upholstery, a Lexicon premium audio system, a 360-degree view camera system, 16-way power seats, reclining and ventilated outboard rear seats, a 12.3-inch digital cluster replacing the analog one, LED headlights, 19-inch alloy wheels, and a head-up display. Trunk space is 15.9 cubic feet but can't be expanded because the K900 doesn't come with split-folding rear seats in any trim. There is a premium sound system available that is tuned specifically to the K900's interior-- the Lexicon-- a 900-watt Surround Sound audio system with 17 speakers, external amplifier and a subwoofer- it's quite impressive. The rear seats even have a reclining capability, and also, when locked and parked, its side mirrors mechanically fold in by themselves. A $6,000 VIP package is available that has a 12.3-inch LCD instrument cluster, power door closing, radar cruise control, power rear seats, and the 4 camera surround-view camera system. There can also be a heated steering wheel (standard on V8 models, obtainable on the V6).
